Jamie Playfair,

Creative Director

With over 25 years in the industry, Jamie has been responsible for the concept and development of design projects as well as art directing photographers, other designers and production artists. Major past and current clients include Sobeys Inc., Maritime Travel, Newmac Furnaces and Clearwater Seafoods. 
Throughout this time he has honed his skills as a traditional designer and maintained a keen interest in the advancements of design and communications technology. Today his expertise lends itself to strategy and brand development, whether it is in print or online. Jamie has been part of ACG since the inception of the group in 1995. He has been the lead designer on numerous brand exercises. 

Bruce Murray, 

Director of Photography and Video, VisionFire Studios

After a 10 year career in the music industry on the East Coast, Bruce moved out to Vancouver to pursue a passion for Commercial Photography. In 1994 Advocate Printing & Publishing contracted him to open a commercial studio in Nova Scotia to service the clients of the printing company - VisionFire Studio was born.
Bruce’s commitment to his clients is to constantly advance the studio’s offering through state of the art equipment and creative techniques that put the customers people, products and places in their best light.

Mike Cugno, 

Art Director

Mike is an accomplished designer with over twenty years of creative experience on both the agency and client side (10 years in senior positions).
With a Bachelors of Design from NSCAD University, Mike has had the opportunity to work on internal/external corporate, marketing and promotional materials in a range of sectors for clients in Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
Past clients of note include Government of Ontario Millennium Celebrations, The Canadian Heritage of Quebec, Biovail and Co-Operators Insurance Company.

Darlene Watters, 

Senior Designer

A twenty year veteran of pre-press production and graphic design, Darlene has extensive experience in traditional print (lithography, flexography, rotogravure) and digital media. She has been designing for commercial, POP, textile and the entertainment industry in Southern California USA, Ontario and Nova Scotia.
Darlene is also professionally trained in Interpretive Illustration with a diploma from Sheridan College and has studied Fine Art at university level.

Barbara Raymont, 

Senior Designer/Illustrator

After completing a 3-year program at Sheridan College in Brampton, Ontario Barbara started her career as a technical illustrator with a firm in Southwestern Ontario working for their main client, GM Diesel. In order to gain experience in other areas of advertising, Barbara worked for a printer and then a publishing company as art director. 
Barbara’s career path then lead her to a communications company serving larger national clients such as SC Johnson, Harvey’s, as well as local hospitals and large corporations.
